Brendan was born in East Africa, where he lived until he was 12. The son of US Diplomats, he lived in Ethiopia, Tanzania and Kenya, attending international schools and traveling extensively.
Brendan knew he wanted to be an Architect from a very young age, largely inspired by the buildings he visited during his travels. As a kid living on a white sand beach, Brendan was designing underwater hotels. In High School and then at UC Berkeley, Brendan learned the technical and professional skills that are foundational to great design.
Today, Brendan lives in Truckee, California with his wife and two sons where he enjoys an active lifestyle with friends and family. Snowboarding in the winter, hiking and backpacking in the summer, are some of Brendan's favorite activities.
